It is a site for people to see what groups are around. Perhaps you have some spare time and want to do voluntary work. Or just want to join a group to meet sociable people and have fun and "get out of the house". Perhaps you are a musician looking for somewhere to join, Ludlow has a new Wind Band why not give it a try! Ludlow has such a lot to offer and there are many out there who would love to meet you and welcome you to their group or society. Be it knitting, yoga, stamp collecting or salsa dancing why not be a part of it?
To find the right group just click onto a category on the left. If you are looking for special events go to the Whats on page, featured local events of special merit are also listed on a seperate page.
If you are a member of a group which is not listed and would like to be included please go to to contact page, it costs nothing to be added. If you want to find out where a venue is or want to book a venue, go to venue page. If there is a special event you would like to be featured let us know.
There are many types of community groups from Voluntary Organisations to Social Enterprises. If you are thinking of starting your own group why not see which is the best way to create it regarding regulations and regulatory bodies.
CRB Checks - Any organisation working with children or "vulnerable" adults (disabled, elderly) may need to make sure that CRB checks are in place and up to date. There are "umbrella bodies" who can process such checks, an example is Acorn Direct, for more info visit their website, www.acorndirect.org.uk or telephone 0161 368 8182. (they are highly recommended)
Why not have an expert to give a demo or lecture for your groups, I have included a page of interesting speakers.
