Ludlow and District Horticultural SocietyThey meet every 3rd Wednesday in the month except October at St Peters hall, Henly Road, Ludlow.  Talks are held on a wide range of gardening subjects.  Summer visits are organised to garden and horticultural establishments and there is an annual dinner in October (usually a Saturday).  There is a small annual fee (discount for family groups) and there are no charges for meetings.  For any information contact Hon Secretary Mr A G Cook  01584 872067

 

Ludlow and District Flower Club
  they meet at St Peter's Church Rooms, Henley Road, Ludlow on 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7.30pm.  They have domonstrations, talks and outings and have flower arranging practice. Annual subs £10, there are about 35 members.   wwwflowersmerciawales.co.uk

this committee/groups organise Ludlow's entry into the IN BLOOM COMPETITION,  and are responsible for some of Ludlow's floral display and tubs in conjunction with Ludlow Town Council,  for more information contact Colin 01584 875946 

 

Caring for God's AcreChurchyard Task Team is a group of volunteers getting together to help with practical conservation tasks in some of the beautiful churchyards of Herefordshire and South Shropshire. Clows Top and District Gardening Club  this is a friendly club for people who have an interest in gardening and/or country matters.  The club meets at Clows Top Village Hall on the fouth Wednesday of each month at 7.45pm  for an 8.00 pm start.  At each session there is a raffle, a plant stall and refreshments.  Annual membership is £3.00 per person.  The club visits local gardens in the spring and summer, and holds four shows throughout the year.  The Chair is Mrs Marion Wilson  telephone 01299 270475.  New members are welcome.


Orleton and District Gardening ClubThis club has about 120 members.  They meet at Orleton Village Hall 7.30 for 8 pm.  They have a range of activities and speakers, and have a small annual membership with no charges for meetings.  They have 2 shows a year, one in June (mainly flowers) and one in August (veg, floral, cookery etc..).  Members range from novice to the experienced gardener.  visit   www.orletongardeningclub.co.uk
